SCCC's 1st Annual Meeting

The 2023 Springfield Creative City Collective Annual Meeting had an engaging evening focused on "Sustainable Economic Development Through Creativity." The event gathered local, regional, state, and national creative economic development stakeholders for intentional discussions on systemic change. Keynote Speaker Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research at Americans for the Arts, brought extensive experience to empower arts advocates. The ALL-star panel includes Michael Bobbit, Executive Director of the Mass Cultural Council; Xiomara DeLobato, VP and Chief of Staff of the Western Mass Economic Development Council; Alice Farrell JD, LCSW, MSW, President, and CEO of Olive Branch Clinical and Consulting Services; Emily Ruddock, Executive Director of MASSCreative; and Rashad Frett, a multi-talented Writer, Director, Cinematographer, and Editor. Together, these amazing people envisioned Springfield's role in the global creative economy and chart pathways for success in regional creative economic development.
